After incessant chattering of political commentators of both the sides based on rhetoric and cheap tricks got better of me, I had to look for hard facts.
I know it is easy to make someone look good or bad by presenting one side of the story, so I tried to find the facts from both the sides. Alas, I found that Modi detractors were a lot rich with facts than the modi backers. I almost have a feeling that we are ready to try anyone but congress. Its the same wave which the intelligentsia brought for Akhilesh Yadav and what a dud he has turned out to be!
Anyway before I start my own rhetoric, I will present the facts I have suggested. I will put my conclusions down some other day but here is the list I referred to. I hope reader will make his choice based on data and not plain rhetoric or anti-incumbency feelings.

By the way very reluctantly I back Modi because the data shows that he has done well on most parameters which benefit me directly like domestic product growth, electricity generation, agriculture efficiency improvement, not roads probably because Gujarat have had good roads for a long time. I very unwillingly ignore human development indices which go against Modi because they don't affect me.
